Privacy policy

This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit dasvale.com or ask for a free website inspection. Dasvale is a division of Abacus Inc. We are a web design and digital growth studio in Orange County, California. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Dasvale.

The short version: we collect what you type into our form and basic visit statistics from Google Analytics. We use them to reply to you and to improve the site. We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you use the free website inspection form, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your current website address
  • Your company name (optional)
  • Your phone number (optional)
  • How you found us (optional)
  • A message (optional)

After you send the form, we may ask three optional follow-up questions: when you want to act, what you want your site to do better, and where your customers find you. Your answers are optional too.

Please do not send health information, payment details or other sensitive information through the form. We do not need it.

Information collected automatically

Our web host, Hostinger, keeps server logs. These record your IP address, your browser and device type (the user agent), the pages you requested, and the date and time. This is standard for any website. It is used for security and to keep the site running.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages help visitors. It sets cookies for this site and collects information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the site that sent you here, your device and browser type, and your approximate location (city level). It does not give us your name or contact details. We look at these reports in aggregate to improve the site. We have turned off Google’s advertising features and Google signals for our account, and Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load Google Analytics for your visit. You can also block it with Google’s opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

What we do not use

This site has no advertising pixels and no ad trackers. Apart from Google Analytics, it loads no third-party scripts. Fonts are served from our own site, so your browser does not contact a font company when a page loads.

How we use your information

We use what you send through the form only to:

  • Prepare your website inspection
  • Reply to you
  • Follow up about Dasvale’s services

We do not sell your information. We do not share it for advertising. We do not use it to build profiles of you.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the form and our mail:

  • Google. The form sends your answers to a script on Dasvale’s Google account. It stores them in a private Google Sheet and emails a copy to us. Because your browser sends the form straight to Google’s servers, Google also receives your IP address and browser details when you submit it.
  • Google Analytics. Google processes visit statistics for us, as described above.
  • Hostinger. Hostinger hosts this website and hosts the mailbox that receives those emails.

These providers handle data under their own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

The “Book a strategy call” page is on app.dasvale.com and runs on SuiteDash. If you book a call, SuiteDash collects what you enter there under its own policy. Our sample client sites are separate websites with their own policies. We are not responsible for how they handle information.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to reply to you, follow up about our services and run our business. If you become a client, your agreement with us also covers your information. You can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time, and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Reviewing, correcting and deleting your information

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. This applies to California residents and to everyone else. Send your request through the form at dasvale.com/#contact. Write “Privacy request” in the message, and type “none” in the website field if you do not have a site. Tell us the name and email you used. We may need to confirm it is you before we act.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load Google Analytics for your visit, so no analytics cookies are set. Google Analytics is the only third-party service that collects information about visits to this site, and we have turned off its advertising features.

Children

This site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including a private spreadsheet and encrypted connections to the site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Please check it from time to time. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated policy.
